Local storage

Profiles, caregiver-entered events, notes and routines are stored in app storage on your device. You can use a nickname. The app does not require a child's name, birthday, photo or an app account. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings.

Optional iCloud sharing

If you enable caregiver sharing, the selected profile's history and notes are copied to Apple's CloudKit service and made available to the adults you invite. Their Apple account and iCloud settings apply. Editing permissions allow changes to shared entries. We do not operate a separate journal server.

Advertising and analytics

The app includes no advertising or third-party analytics SDK. We do not sell journal data. Apple may provide aggregate store and diagnostic information according to its services and your settings.

Purchases and authentication

Apple processes purchases through StoreKit. We do not receive your payment-card details. Device authentication is handled by iOS; the app does not receive biometric templates.

Exports and support

Exported files can contain notes and caregiver labels. You decide where to save them or whom to send them to. If you email support, we receive the information you include and use it to respond. Please avoid unnecessary sensitive information.

Access and deletion

You can export data and remove entries. Sharing controls let you manage participants or leave a shared profile. Removing access cannot erase files already exported by another person, and an offline device may retain cached information until it reconnects. Device-level backups are managed through Apple settings.
