Export a backup

Open Settings → Export a complete backup. Save the JSON file to a private location. It contains profiles, entries, routines and editing history; it is not anonymized.

Bring a backup back

Choose Import a backup, inspect the profile and entry counts, then choose merge or separate local profiles. The app validates the file first. Imported routines are paused, and sharing invitations are never recreated from a backup.

Share a readable report

Progress offers CSV export and Plus PDF reports. Select the right profile and dates, review the file, and use the system share or save controls. A PDF records caregiver observations; it does not interpret them medically.

Before changing devices

Keep a recent portable backup. Do not assume local-only data will appear on a new device without restoring an appropriate device or app backup.
